GPS Projects, a Kent-based construction main contractor, needed a full redesign of their website to better reflect their expertise and business growth through improved online visibility. The objective was to create a site that was easy to navigate, showcased their range of projects, and would perform well in organic search and local SEO.
The project began with an in-depth research phase to understand GPS Projects’ audience, competitors, and content needs. This helped create a strategic site structure before moving forward with wireframes designed to streamline the user journey.
The visual design was built around professionalism and clarity, featuring: a structured layout, strong typography, and project-focused imagery. The interface was kept intuitive and mobile-friendly, ensuring accessibility across all devices.
Once the design was approved, I developed the site in Webflow, enhancing it with custom code to deliver custom functions and smooth interactions. The build prioritised technical SEO and speed by optimising images and minimising bulky scripts.
The result was a website that the client loved, was simple to manage, visually aligned with their brand, and built for long-term success. Most notably, GPS Projects saw a 42.4% increase in organic traffic, marking a strong return on investment and setting a new benchmark for their digital presence.
